In the early morning hours of Tuesday, August 6, 2024 fire started at Fox-Fairview Christian Church.
It is believed to be connected to a string of Church Fires in Gallia and Lawrence Counties and was declared Arson by the Fire Marshall of the State of Ohio on August 8, 2024.
Fires that were considered to be connected to The Fox-Fairview Christian Church Fire are:
- Kokeen Enterprise Baptist Church – Gallia County – April 23, 2022
- Flag Springs Methodist Church – Gallia County – May 10, 2024
- Rehobeth Church – Lawrence County – July 6, 2024
- Fox-Fairview Church – Gallia County – Aug. 6, 2024
